The Double-A Zone kicks off its Michigan Winter Sports Extravaganza at noon today. Over the next three days, bloggers Ryan Powell and Howard Smith will visit seven schools, highlighting indoor track, men’s and women’s ice hockey,  women’s gymnastics, wrestling, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s and women’s basketball and, of course, bowling.

In a first, the trip will be streamed live on the blog with the Double-A Zone Dashboard Cam. Powell and Smith will also live-blog the event and readers are encouraged to submit questions, which the bloggers will respond to in real-time.

The pair embarked on a similar trip last month in an Indiana Basketball Extravaganza. They logged more than 1,200 miles in Indiana, but the Michigan trip promises to top that mark.

Check out the schedule (all times Eastern) and make sure to log on to the Double-A Zone for continuous coverage.
