Collins leaves NCAA post after seven years

Joyce Collins, who has been director of accounting at the NCAA national office since 2002, has announced she is resigning from her position with the Association.

Collins has supervised the travel and insurance group and the accounting group. She joined the national office staff in 1999 as an accountant.

Before that, Collins was at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Indianapolis assisting financial-services groups and nonprofit organizations. 

Before working in public accounting, Collins was with the Indiana Department of Insurance. She is a certified public accountant and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington.
