The Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association named its officers for the 2008-09 year. Tim Van Alstine, athletics director at Western Illinois, is president.

Peter Fields, athletics director at Montana State will be first vice president, Greg Burke, athletics director at Northwestern State will be second vice president, and Marilyn McNeil, athletics director at Monmouth, as third vice president.

The association also selected its executive committee: Jeff Bourne, James Madison; Charlie Cobb, Appalachian State; Robert Hill, Stephen F. Austin; Brian Hutchinson, Morehead State; Charlene Johnson, South Carolina State; Greg LaFleur, Southern University; Patrick Lyons, Iona; Bruce McCutcheon, Lafayette; Dianne Murphy, Columbia; past president Jim Murphy, Davidson; Gene Taylor, North Dakota State; Ron Strollo, Youngstown State; Terry Wanless, Sacramento State; Allen Ward, Murray State; and Donny White, VMI. Monmouth’s Kevin Callahan will be the football coaches’ representative to the committee.
