The NCAA is soliciting additional nominations for two September 2008 vacancies on the Division I Softball Committee and an immediate vacancy on the Division I Amateurism Fact-Finding Committee. Nominations must be received online from conference offices by April 11.

For the softball committee, one appointee must be from the East region and the other has no geographic restrictions. One must be from the Football Bowl Subdivision and one must be from either the Football Championship Subdivision or Division I subdivision (no football). One appointee must be an administrator.

There are no restrictions on the appointment for the amateurism fact-finding committee. The nominee will replace Patrick Hairston of Delaware State who resigned his position with the group. For more information, contact Jobrina Perez.
