Sport Sponsorship: Morehead State has announced it will consolidate its men's and women's rifle program into a mixed program. The school also will eliminate men's and women's indoor track and field and sponsor women's golf beginning with the 2008-09 academic year. The change means the institution will sponsor 16 sports instead of 18. He said the changes will also help offer the best experience possible for student-athletes.
