The NCAA is soliciting Division I members to fill the following committee vacancies. The deadline for submitting nomination materials is July 25, 2008. All nominations must be submitted through the conference office.

The Women’s Basketball Rules Committee has one immediate vacancy to replace Kathy Olivier who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a coach from the Football Bowl Subdivision or Division I Subdivision.

The Division I Softball Committee has one vacancy beginning in September 2008. The appointee must be from the East region and the Football Bowl Subdivision. The appointee may be a coach or administrator.

The Men’s and Women’s Fencing Committee has one immediate vacancy to replace Sheryl Sousa, Brandeis University. The appointee can be from any division or subdivision and must be an administrator from the Northeast region who represents women’s fencing interests. Eligible Division I institutions are Boston College, Brown, Cornell, Harvard, Sacred Heart, St. Francis (New York), St. John’s (New York) and Yale.
