The Big Ten Conference men’s basketball tournament will welcome its one millionth fan Friday, 10 years after the tournament began.

The one-millionth fan, randomly selected at one of two Friday sessions of the tournament, will receive a prize package, including all-session tickets to the 2009 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament, a three-night hotel stay, two airline vouchers and a gift certificate to the conference’s online store. The one millionth fan will be honored at halftime.

Tournament attendance stands at 969,038. This year’s event will be at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
