In an effort to further enhance its new media coverage, The NCAA News announces the launch of Voices from Convention, an online series featuring conversations with Convention attendees, award winners and other special guests. Beginning Friday, videos can be found on the homepage of NCAA.org, which has been redesigned to give greater prominence to video, podcasts and other new media.

Silver award winners Robin Roberts and Dot Richardson will be featured as will ESPN anchor and Women of Color Symposium moderator Sage Steel.  NCAA News Director Gary Brown will highlight the changes to The NCAA News and the launch of Champion magazine and NCAA News Direct, the Association's new daily and weekly e-newsletter.

The NCAA News is committed to providing in-depth, real-time communication to the membership, student-athletes and the public.  New media will be a prominent feature of the 2008 Convention, which will include a live stream of the Opening Business Session and State of the Association.

Voices from Convention will conclude on Monday.
