Use for the Association’s new online employment service continues to grow rapidly.

As of February 1, a total of 318 searchable jobs appeared on The NCAA Market, which is accessible by clicking “Employment” on the bottom of the left-hand navigation panel on www.NCAA.org. The site also featured 7,747 searchable resumes through February 1.

“This is a tremendously successful initiative,” said David Pickle, NCAA managing director of publishing. “Considering that we essentially started this new approach from scratch last September, that kind of volume testifies to the value of this site.”

Individuals are able to apply directly for positions through the system. The most popular jobs are attracting more than 100 applicants (a football assistant coaching position at a Football Bowl Subdivision institution led the way with 135 applications as of February 1).

“We continue to encourage the membership to use this service,” Pickle said. “It’s affordable, and by all indications, it gets results.”
