The Association will implement an improved way for the membership and public to access NCAA publications when it launches NCAAPublications.com Tuesday.

The new site – www.NCAAPublications.com – will place all NCAA publications in one place and help customers find the information they seek.

Until now, access to NCAA publications has been through NCAA.org by clicking first on the “Media and events” tab, and then “Publications.” NCAA publications that were available online at no charge, mostly as PDF files, were organized under topical headings. Those who wanted to purchase hard copy books were routed to a separate purchasing site.

“The approach we used has worked well enough,” said David Pickle, NCAA managing director of publishing, “but it didn’t really reveal to customers, both our members and those in the general public,  the wealth of material that is available digitally and in print.”

The new site will be displayed on the front page of NCAA.org on a toolbar alongside links to NCAA.com and the Double-A Zone (the Association’s official blog).
