This week features a full slate of winter championships competition, beginning with tomorrow night’s tipoff of the Division I Men's Basketball Championship and also including opening action this weekend in the Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.
Champions will be crowned this weekend at seven events, including the Division III Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. The men’s championship in Salem, Virginia, is the 50th NCAA championship event hosted by that city.
Also on tap are finals in Division I women’s swimming and diving and wrestling, and Division III men’s swimming and diving and men’s and women’s ice hockey.
In governance activities, the Division II Budget and Finance Committee meets today.
