The International Collegiate Licensing Association opened its sixth annual convention in Dallas by approving a new logo for the organization.
The logo for the NACDA-affiliated group uses a pennant theme to represent its collegiate focus. The logo was designed by ICLA member Eric Rickabaugh of Rickabaugh Graphics.
“We felt that the association’s logo needed an update, while keeping with the traditional collegiate pennant,” said ICLA President Dale Arens, trademark and licensing director at the University of Iowa.
The updated logo comes at a time when ICLA is experiencing strong growth. Only in its sixth year, ICLA membership has risen to its highest number ever (460). Arens said the strength of the ICLA membership is its diversity and wide-ranging perspectives, backgrounds and experiences all aimed at serving collegiate licensing professionals at all levels.
The association provides educational and networking opportunities, enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethics in the profession of collegiate licensing. For more information about ICLA, see www.iclanet.com.
