BCA adds board members

The NCAA News

Black Coaches and Administrators elected four members of its board of directors.

 

Joining the Indianapolis-based organization’s board are Carol Owens, head women’s basketball coach at Northern Illinois; Keith R. Tribble, director of athletics at Central Florida; Ron Prince, head football coach at Kansas State; and Danielle O’Banion, admissions officer and head girls’ basketball coach at Episcopal (Virginia) High School.

 

The new members assumed their roles on December 5 and the appointments run through 2012.

 

Current BCA officers include Georgia Tech’s Paul Hewitt, president; Hampton’s Joe Taylor, president-elect; and Army’s Eugene Marshall, past president. The board of directors consists of Clint Bryant of Augusta State, Shann Hart of IUPUI, Rochelle Taylor, former NYSCorp president, Jackie Campbell of the Atlantic 10 Conference, Dave Leitao of Virginia, Charlotte Westerhaus of the NCAA and Floyd Keith, BCA executive director.
