Runners and walkers are invited to participate in the first annual 4Kay Run/Walk presented by The Hartford. The 4Kay Run/Walk, slated for April 5 at the St. Pete Times Forum, West Plaza, in Tampa, is in honor of North Carolina State head women's basketball coach Kay Yow, who is currently battling breast cancer. Proceeds from the event will benefit cancer research through the Kay Yow/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Cancer Fund.

All participants will receive a 4Kay Run/Walk t-shirt. In addition, participants who present their race bib at NCAA Hoop City in the Tampa Convention Center on April 5, will earn free admission. 

Registration will take place from 7 to 7:45 a.m. on race day. The run will begin at 8 a.m. The pre-registration fee is $20. Participants may register on the day of the race for $25. For more information or to pre-register, visit http://www.ncaamarchmadness2008.com/womens/4kay.aspx.
