Jacobs named CCHA associate commissioner

The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has named Tom Jacobs associate commissioner for business affairs.
A 20-year veteran of intercollegiate athletics, Jacobs has worked for the Big Eight Conference, California and the NCAA.
Most recently the director of championships for the NCAA, Jacobs worked closely with the Division I Men’s Soccer, Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Division I Men’s Ice Hockey championships.
Jacobs was instrumental in increasing the popularity of the Frozen Four, helping to implement the Frozen Four Skills Challenge and Friday Night at the Frozen Four.
