Newly announced vacancies
The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is June 8, 2007.
Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports: One July 2007 vacancy. The appointee will replace Jennifer Palancia Shipp, University of North Carolina, Greensboro, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must have a legal background and may be from any division or subdivision.
Division III
Division III individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division III nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at: http://web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Division III Management Council: One immediate vacancy and two January 2008 vacancies. The appointee to the immediate vacancy will replace Kevin McHugh, formerly of The College of New Jersey. Management Council appointees must be chancellors or presidents, faculty athletics representatives, directors of athletics, senior woman administrators or conference administrators.
Division III Championships Committee: Two January 2008 vacancies. One appointee must be a male and one appointee must be a female.
Division III Financial Aid Committee: Two January 2008 vacancies. One appointee must be a financial aid administrator. One appointee must be a female. Chancellors and presidents are encouraged to submit nomination materials.
Division III Committee on Infractions: One January 2008 vacancy. The appointee must be a male.
Division III Interpretations and Legislation Committee: Two January 2008 vacancies. One appointee must be a female.
Division III Membership Committee: One January 2008 vacancy. The appointee must be a conference administrator.
Division III Nominating Committee: Two January 2008 vacancies. One appointee must be a chancellor or president. One appointee must be a female.
Division III Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee: One January 2008 vacancy. The appointee must be female.
Men’s and Women’s Skiing Committee: One immediate Division III vacancy. The appointee will replace Mark Godomsky, Colby College, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an Alpine skiing coach and can be from any region.
Eligible institutions: Babson College, Bates College, Bowdoin College, Clarkson University, Colby College, Colby-Sawyer College, Finlandia University, Gustavus Adolphus College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Middlebury College, Northland College, Plymouth State University, College of St. Benedict, St. John’s University (Minnesota), St. Olaf College, St. Lawrence University, College of St. Scholastica, Smith College, Wellesley College, Whitman College, Williams College.
