Newly announced vacancies
The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is April 13, 2007.
NCAA Student Records Review Committee: One immediate vacancy on this recently legislated committee. The nominee may be from Division I or Division II. Preference will be given to candidates who have current or previous involvement with academic initial-eligibility review (for example, athletics academic advisor, compliance officer, initial-eligibility certification). This newly-created committee has the authority to establish policies and procedures related to review of a prospective student-athlete’s academic credentials and to determine the validity of a prospective student-athlete’s academic credentials for the purpose of meeting initial-eligibility requirements.
Division III
Division III individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division III nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Division III Field Hockey Committee: One June 1, 2007, vacancy. The appointee will replace Stacey Watts, Mount Holyoke College, who will resign from the committee at that time. The appointee must be from the New England East region and may be a coach or an administrator.
Eligible conferences: Commonwealth Coast Conference, North Atlantic Conference.
