Coins for cancer research — Rowan University
The NCAA News
Coins for cancer research — Rowan University student-athletes collected coins from the community recently and raised more than $350 for cancer research. A local bank rounded the amount up to $400 and gave the money to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The Rowan Student Center maintenance staff won a free lunch provided by the bank for making the largest group donation. The biggest student donation was made by freshman Mike Fodor, a computer science major, followed by the students from Evergreen Residence Hall. From the left are Rowan soccer student-athletes Kaeleigh Brock, Tricia Egler, Kerry Little and Krista Verzi.
