Habitat helpers — Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
Habitat helpers — A group of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference student-athletes traded in their uniforms and gear for some old work clothes and paint brushes recently. MIAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee members fixed siding, climbed ladders and painted an entire house in one day. Fourteen student-athletes from seven MIAC institutions, along with four conference administrators and three Habitat for Humanity group leaders, participated in the outreach organized by “Brush for Kindness”, a branch of the Minneapolis chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
