Brian Dolan has been named as head men’s basketball coach at Upper Iowa.

Dolan, who takes over for Dave Martin, has been an assistant at Texas-Pan American for the past two years. Before his service at Texas-Pan American, he served as an assistant coach and academic and recruiting coordinator at Southern Idaho. Dolan also completed coaching stints at Southern Utah from 2001 to 2003 and at Missouri State.

Dolan was a 1998 graduate of William Jewell College, where he began his coaching career as head women’s junior varsity coach.
