Lincoln (Pennsylvania) named Alfonso Scandrett Jr. director of athletics.

Scandrett spent the past two years as athletics director at Division II Minnesota State Moorhead. He has also led athletics departments in Divisions I and III, working at North Carolina A&T from 1999-02 and Buffalo State from 1997-99.

An active participant in the NCAA governance structure, Scandrett has served on the Division II Regional Women's Basketball Ranking Committee, the Division I-AA Football Selection Committee and Football Ranking Committee, and Division I Certification Committee.

A 1973 graduate of Buffalo, Scandrett possesses a doctorate from Oregon in health sciences and epidemiology. He has a master of science degree from Minnesota State Mankato in health education with a study in epidemiology.
