Division I Baseball
September 1-14: Quiet period.
September 15-November 5: Contact/evaluation period.
Division I Men’s Basketball
August 1-September 8: Quiet period.
September 9-October 5: Contact period. All live evaluations during the academic year (except during the April contact period) shall be limited to regularly scheduled high school, preparatory school and two-year college contests/tournaments, practices and regular scholastic activities involving student-athletes enrolled only at that institution).
Division I Women’s Basketball
August 1-September 15: Quiet period.
September 16-April 17, 2007 (note exception below): Evaluation period. Women’s basketball staff members shall not exceed 85 recruiting-person days. A recruiting-person day is defined as one coach engaged in an off-campus recruiting activity of a women’s basketball prospect on one day; two coaches engaged in recruiting activities on the same day shall use two recruiting days. Those days from September 16, 2006-April 17, 2007, not designated for contact or evaluation purposes: Quiet period.
Exception:
September 16-October 6: Contact period (evaluations are permitted at nonscholastic women’s basketball events from September 30-October 1). Consult NCAA.org for other 2006-07 exceptions.
Division II Men’s Basketball
August 2-September 6: Quiet period.
September 7-October 14: Contact period.
Division II Women’s Basketball
August 2-September 6: Quiet period.
September 7-October 14: Contact period.
Division I Football
August 1-November 25: Quiet period, except for the following:

In Bowl Championship Subdivision football, six days during September, October and through November 25, selected at the discretion of the institution (an authorized off-campus recruiter may visit a particular educational institution only once during this evaluation period).n
In Football Championship Subdivision football, 42 evaluation days (see Bylaw 13.02.6.2) during September, October and through November 25, selected at the discretion of the member institution and designated in writing in the office of the director of athletics; authorized off-campus recruiters shall not visit a prospect’s educational institution on more than one calendar day during this period.Division II Football
June 1 to the beginning of the prospect’s high school or two-year college football season (as determined by the first regularly scheduled practice immediately preceding the start of the regular season): Quiet period.
During the prospect’s high school or two-year college football season (as determined by the first regularly scheduled practice immediately preceding the start of the regular season): Evaluation period.
Division I Men’s Lacrosse
