The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 21, 2006.
Men’s and Women’s Fencing Committee:
One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must represent women’s interests and be from the Mid-Atlantic/South region. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator from Division I or Division III.Eligible Division I institutions: Duke University; Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metropolitan; James Madison University; University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; University of Pennsylvania; Princeton University; Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick; Temple University.
Eligible Division III institutions: Drew University, Haverford College, Johns Hopkins University, Stevens Institute of Technology.
Division I
Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution’s multisport conference. The Division I nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process by the conference office.

Division I Women’s Lacrosse Committee:
One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from Division I-AA or I-AAA. The appointee must be an administrator and may be from any region except the Mid-Atlantic.Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee:
One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Roger Blalock, Purdue University, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must represent men’s track and field, or cross country, and may be a coach or administrator.Additional nominations solicited

One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Susan Kovacs, University of Illinois at Chicago, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an administrator.Eligible institutions: University of California, Berkeley; University of Illinois at Chicago; University of Iowa; James Madison University; University of Michigan; University of Minnesota, Twin Cities; Ohio State University; University of Oklahoma; Pennsylvania State University; Temple University; U.S. Air Force Academy; U.S. Naval Academy; College of William and Mary.
Division I Women’s Soccer Committee:
One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from Division I-A and may be a coach or an administrator. The appointee may be from the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic or Great Lakes regions.Eligible conferences: Big Ten Conference, Conference USA, Mid-American Conference.
Division II
Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be sub- mitted via the online nomination process available at: web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace John McCarthy, formerly of Lynn University, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or an administrator.Eligible conferences: Gulf South Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Sunshine State Conference.

One July 1, 2006, vacancy. The appointee will replace John Smith, California State University, Bakersfield, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must from the Far West region and may be a coach or an administrator.Eligible conferences: California Collegiate Athletic Association, Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
Eligible independent institution: Grand Canyon University.
Division II Men’s and Women’s Tennis Committee:
One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Tami Matheny, University of South Carolina Upstate, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a female administrator from the Mid-Atlantic region.Eligible conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Association, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, Peach Belt Conference.
Eligible independent institution: University of the District of Columbia.
Women’s Volleyball Rules Committee:
