Division II

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is June 27, 2006.

Division II Legislation Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Robert Burke, formerly of American International College, who resigned from the committee. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

Men’s Lacrosse Rules Committee: One immediate Division II vacancy. The appointee will replace Rory Whipple, formerly of Bryant College. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Additional nominations solicited

Division II Women’s Lacrosse Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Michael Daly, Stonehill College, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the North region and may be a coach or an administrator.

North region conferences: New York Collegiate Athletic Conference, Northeast-10 Conference.

North region independent institutions: C.W. Post Campus/Long Island University, Wilmington College (Delaware).

Division II Men’s Soccer Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the New England region.

New England region conferences: Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, Northeast-10 Conference.

Division II Women’s Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Will Beddingfield, Lenoir-Rhyne College. The appointee must be from the Southeast region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Southeast region conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference, Peach Belt Conference, South Atlantic Conference.

Southeast region independent institutions: North Greenville College.

Division III

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is June 27, 2006.

Division III Interpretations and Legislation Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Vicky Chun, formerly of the New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an ethnic minority. Women are encouraged to submit nomination materials.

Division III Women’s Golf Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from Region 5 and may be a coach or an administrator.

Region 5 conferences: Northwest Conference.

Region 5 independents: University of California, Santa Cruz; California State University, East Bay; Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be a coach from the West region.

Eligible West region institutions: Lake Forest College, Lawrence University, Marian College (Wisconsin), Milwaukee School of Engineering, Northland College, St. Norbert College, College of St. Scholastica.

Division III Women’s Rowing Committee: One July 2006 vacancy. The appointee will replace Penny Brush, Chapman University, who will resign from the committee at that time. The appointee must be from the Pacific region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible Pacific region institutions: Chapman University, Lewis & Clark University, Mills College, Pacific Lutheran University, University of Puget Sound, Willamette University.

Division III Softball Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Northeast region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Northeast region conferences: Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, Atlantic Women’s Colleges Conference (Wells College), Great Northeast Athletic Conference, Empire 8, North Eastern Athletic Conference, State University of New York Athletic Conference.

Northeast region independents: College of New Rochelle, Russell Sage College.

Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Linda Barley, York College (New York), who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a female from the Atlantic region who represents women’s interests. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible Atlantic region conferences: Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference; Empire 8; Eastern College Athletic Conference; Liberty League; New Jersey Athletic Conference; North Eastern Athletic Conference; Presidents’ Athletic Conference [Westminster College (PA)]; Skyline Conference; State University of New York Athletic Conference.

Eligible Atlantic region independent institutions: College of New Rochelle, Wells College.
