Wrestlers Help Local Red Cross —
The St. Cloud State University wrestling team recently helped the local Red Cross with a construction project. The Red Cross recently purchased a new building and was working to bring the building to code. The task of the Husky wrestlers was to tear out the old communication wires due to the fact that plastic coating on the wires would be very toxic in the case of a fire. The team worked in three groups each equaling one hour shifts per group. All wires were then recycled and brought in for cash to the organization. "The State Cloud State wrestlers did a great thing today," said assistant coach Severin Walsh. "We are very fortunate at SCSU to have such a willing and giving group of young men."
