Milestones: Lewis University men’s soccer coach Evan Fiffles earned his 200th career win with a 1-0 nonconference victory over Truman State University October 8. Fiffles has led Lewis to a winning season and at least 10 wins in each of his 15 years as head coach. After the win, Fiffles’ career record stood at 200-80-23. He has coached Lewis to five Great Lakes Valley Conference titles and four NCAA Division II tournament appearances ... Florida Southern College recorded the 900th victory in the school’s volleyball program with a 30-16, 30-27, 32-34, 30-19 win at Saint Leo University October 10. Now in its 31st year of intercollegiate volleyball, Florida Southern will have its 30th winning season this year. Of the program’s 900 wins, 747 came under the direction of Lois Webb, who led the Moccasins to 24 consecutive winning seasons (1977-2000). Webb currently is Florida Southern’s athletics director.
