Number crunching
Chasing two RMAC teams
NCAA Division II cross country programs with thoughts of winning a national championship will be keeping an eye on the two top programs in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. RMAC rivals Adams State College and Western State College of Colorado, which both opened their 2006 seasons September 2, have dominated men’s and women’s cross country over the last 14 years, winning 26 of the 28 team titles in that span.
Following are the Division II Cross Country team champions since 1992. The 2006 Division II Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships are November 18 in Pensacola, Florida, as part of the Division II National Championships Fall Festival.
