Wingate plays ball — The Wingate University football team hosted its third annual Special Olympics Field Day August 19 on campus. Each Special Olympian had the opportunity to visit five stations and participate in the entire range of football skills including offense, defense and the kicking game. Participants received a personalized certificate and a Wingate football T-shirt.
