Photomosaic: NCAA history in pictures

More than 3,000 photos were available for the NCAA Centennial Photomosaic project. Once the photos were collected, they were catalogued by school name, division, sport, type of photo and gender to ensure the project reflected the Association's diverse membership. The project was designed by Rob Silvers of Runaway Technology Fine Art and Commercial Graphics. The finished project, which officially will be unveiled at the NCAA Convention in January, also will be available online. In that application, viewers will be able to move their computer mouse over the mosaic to select information about individual photos.
