Correction

A story in the June 6 issue of The NCAA News about hardship waivers incorrectly reported that Division II student-athletes can apply for the waiver if a season-ending injury or illness occurs in the first half of the season. Actually, the season-ending injury or illness can occur at any point in the season, not just the first half, for a Division II student-athlete to be eligible to apply for a hardship waiver.
