- 2004 -- Indiana men's soccer team purchased a water buffalo in the president's honor and sent it overseas to a family who could use it to make a better living.
- 2005 -- Pepperdine men's volleyball team presented a surfboard Bush jokingly called "Surfboard One."
- 2005 -- Baylor women's basketball team gave President Bush a basketball and a commemorative bottle of Dr. Pepper.
2002 -- Syracuse men's lacrosse team presented an autographed poster.
- 2004 -- Auburn men's swimming and diving team presented Speedo swim trunks.
- 2005 -- Oklahoma men's gymnastics team gave President Bush an autographed OU flag.
- 2005 -- Duke women's golf team had Bush autograph a Duke golf club cover but then took it back to display at Duke.
