The NCAA News is changing its longstanding distribution policy and will now be provided as a membership benefit to predetermined positions at each member institution and conference. Henceforth, News labels will be drawn from a uniform membership database in which institutions update their own personnel. That eliminates confusion for the membership, since a separate database for NCAA News recipients is no longer needed. Before, some individuals changing their institution's News distribution list incorrectly assumed those changes also were being made to the membership database.
