Enhancements planned for women's championships celebrating a 25th anniversary:

• Championship trophies, participant awards, medallions and watches will include a special anniversary designation.

• A video commemorating the anniversary of NCAA women's championships will be played at all women's championships in 2005-06.

• Welcome banners for women's championships in 2005-06 will recognize the commemorative year.

• 500 lapel pins featuring the anniversary logo will be provided at each championship and distributed to participating teams, committees, fans, etc.

• A commemorative anniversary poster will be inserted into all women's championship programs in 2005-06.

• Participating teams at final sites will be provided with event-specific patches or the anniversary patch to have sewn on their uniforms.

• Voting for 25th anniversary teams will be conducted on ncaasports.com or through sport-specific panels. All individuals selected will receive a commemorative watch and gift box. At select championships, these honorees will attend the championship and participate in various activities.

• Educational kits will be made available to elementary and middle school classes to study the history of women's college sports.

• Web pages celebrating the anniversary include trivia, video, a timeline, photos and other elements at www.ncaasports.com.
