Schools from the Pacific-10 Conference have had their way in National Collegiate and Division I team championships over time, as the top three in the men's all-time standings and the top two in the women's are Pacific-10 institutions. UCLA leads in combined men's and women's team titles. In fact, with 97 under their belt, the Bruins are approaching the century mark in team championships. UCLA has won at least one NCAA team title in 23 of the last 25 years (three this year). In Division II, one school -- Abilene Christian -- leads in both men's and women's team titles. The Wildcats have compiled all but one of their 49 team crowns in indoor and outdoor track and field. Abilene Christian's men's golf team was a team champion in 1993. Similarly in Division III, most of Kenyon's 49 team titles are in one sport. The Lords have won 26 straight swimming and diving crowns, while the Ladies have captured 20. Kenyon's women's tennis team won titles in 1993, 1995 and 1997. The College of New Jersey has shown more sports diversity in its division-leading 30 women's titles. Eleven have come in lacrosse, nine in field hockey, six in softball, three in soccer and one in tennis.
