The NCAA Honors Committee is planning a tribute to members of the NCAA family who have died serving in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The committee is requesting that NCAA members submit the names of current or former student-athletes, coaches or administrators who have lost their lives in those conflicts. Those individuals will be remembered during the Honors Dinner at the 2005 NCAA Convention.
Names (with institutional affiliation) can be submitted by e-mail to Melody Lawrence, NCAA associate director for community relations, at mlawrence@ncaa.org.

Wrestling fans can vote online beginning November 8 for the college sport's 75th anniversary team, which will be announced in March 2005 during the Division I Wrestling Championships in St. Louis, Missouri.
Fans can vote until January 12 at the National Wrestling Coaches Association Web site (www.nwcaonline.com) or access the ballot through a link at www.ncaasports.com. Five honorees will be selected from each of three ballots listing 15 lightweight, 15 middleweight and 15 heavyweight wrestlers. A different ballot will be available each week during the voting period.
