Carson-Newman College softball coach Vickee Kazee-Hollifield earned her 600th career victory March 29 with a 4-0 win over Wingate. After the victory, Hollifield's record at Carson-Newman stood at 600-181 in 18 seasons. She has led the Lady Eagles to 10 South Atlantic Conference regular-season championships, six SAC tournament titles and has been SAC coach of the year eight times. She is the eighth winningest coach in Division II history ... Kutztown University of Pennsylvania women's softball coach Judy Lawes won her 400th career game in the nightcap of a doubleheader against Millersville University of Pennsylvania April 2. In her 16th season at Kutztown, Lawes had a record of 400-256-1 after the landmark victory. She is Kutztown's first coach in any sport to reach 400 career victories ... Bill Nash won his 300th career game as Wingate baseball coach March 22 as the Bulldogs swept a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader at Mars Hill College. Through March 24, Nash's career record was 302-192-2 ... Roger Vannoy, women's basketball coach at Lincoln Memorial University, won his 400th career game January 27 when the Lady Railsplitters defeated the University of West Alabama, 77-61. Vannoy recently completed his 21st season at Lincoln Memorial.
