The Interpretations Subcommittee of the Division II Legislation Committee issued the following interpretation:
2003 Proposal No. 24 -- Two-Year College Transfers -- Application of Credit-Hour Requirements
The NCAA Interpretations Subcommittee of the Division II Legislation Committee reviewed 2003 Proposal No. 24 and confirmed that only credits that are accepted and appear on a two-year college transcript may be used to satisfy the requirements which state that a student-athlete must present 24 semester or 36 quarter hours of transferable-degree credit with a cumulative minimum grade-point average of 2.000 and for those student-athletes first entering a two-year collegiate institution on or after August 1, 1996, satisfactorily complete an average of at least 12 semester or 12 quarter hours of transferable-degree credit acceptable toward any baccalaureate degree program at the certifying institution for each academic term of full-time attendance at any collegiate institution.
