The NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee has determined the competition dates for the 16 first- and second-round and four regional sites for the 2004 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship.
The following sites will host games Saturday, March 20, and Monday, March 22:
* The Pit/Bob King Court * Albuquerque, New Mexico * University of New Mexico, host
* McKenzie Arena * Chattanooga, Tennessee * University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, host
* St. John Arena * Columbus, Ohio * Ohio State University, host
* Adams Center/Dahlberg Arena * Missoula, Montana * University of Montana, host
* The Liacouras Center * Philadelphia * Temple University, host
* The Thunderdome * Santa Barbara, California * University of California, Santa Barbara, host
* Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center * Tallahassee, Florida * Florida State University, host
* Wells Fargo Arena * Tempe, Arizona * Arizona State University, host
The following sites will host games Sunday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 23:
* James H. Hilton Coliseum * Ames, Iowa * Iowa State University, host
* Frank Erwin Center * Austin, Texas * University of Texas at Austin, host
* Pete Maravich Assembly Center * Baton Rouge, Louisiana * Louisiana State University, host
* Cassell Coliseum * Blacksburg, Virginia * Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, host
* Cameron Indoor Stadium * Durham, North Carolina * Duke University, host
* Bridgeport Arena at Harbor Yard * Fairfield, Connecticut * Fairfield University, host
* Williams Arena * Minneapolis * University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, host
* Joyce Center * South Bend, Indiana * University of Notre Dame, host
As for regionals, the East regional will at the Hartford Civic Center in Harftord, Connecticut, hosted by the Big East Conference; and the West regional will be at the Bank of America Arena in Seattle, hosted by the University of Washington. Those games will be played Saturday, March 27, and Monday, March 29. The Mideast regional at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia (Old Dominion University, host) and the Midwest regional at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma (University of Oklahoma, host) will be Sunday, March 28, and Tuesday, March 30.
The 2004 NCAA Women's Final Four, hosted by Tulane University, will take place Sunday, April 4, and Tuesday, April 6, at the New Orleans Arena.
