Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials must be sent to Sharon Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 26, 2002.

Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Grace Calhoun from Dartmouth College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be from any track and field region and can be a coach or an athletics administrator.

Previously listed vacancies

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 16, 2002.

Division I Field Hockey Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Jody Smith, former compliance coordinator at Wake Forest University, who has resigned from the committee. Smith's term was to begin September 1, 2002. The appointee must be an athletics administrator from the South region.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division III. A Division III nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials must be sent to Sharon Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division III Management Council: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Myrtes Dunn Green from Stillman College, who has resigned from the Council because Stillman College has begun the reclassification process to Division II. The appointee must be a female. Preference will be given to FARs.

Men's and Women's Rifle Committee: One immediate Division III vacancy. The appointee may be a coach or an athletics administrator.

Women's Volleyball Rules Committee: One interim Division III vacancy. The appointee will replace Tim Cowie, former volleyball coach at New York University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be either a coach or an athletics administrator.
