Division I
Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials must be sent to Sharon Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).
Previously listed vacancies
The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is August 19, 2002.
Division I Women's Basketball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Michelle Perry of the Mountain West Conference, who has resigned from the committee to accept a position at the national office as director of the Division I Women's Basketball Championship. The appointee must be from a Division I-A institution from the West region.
Additional nominations solicited
The deadline for submission of nominations materials for the following vacancy is September 3, 2002.
Division I Wrestling Committee: One September 2002 vacancy. The appointee preferably will be a coach from the West region.
Division II
Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials must be sent to Sharon Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division II Women's Softball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Cynthia Jones, Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be either a coach or an administrator from the Great Lakes region. Eligible conferences are the Great Lakes Intercollegiate, Great Lakes Valley and West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic. Eligible independent institutions are Westminster College (Pennsylvania) and Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne.

Division II Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Mark Rosewell from Northwest Missouri State University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the North Central region. Eligible conferences are the Mid-America Intercollegiate, North Central Intercollegiate, Northern Sun Intercollegiate and Rocky Mountain Athletic. The lone eligible independent institution is Rockhurst University.

Division II Legislation Committee: One September 2002 vacancy. The appointee will replace Sharon Taylor from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. There are no restrictions for this appointment.
Division III

Division III Championships Committee: Two January vacancies. One appointee must be a female and one appointee must be from Region 3.
Division III Financial Aid and Awards Committee: One January vacancy. The appointee must be a female.
Division III Committee on Infractions: One January vacancy. The appointee must be an ethnic minority.
Division III Management Council: Three January vacancies. One appointee must be a faculty athletics representative. One appointee must be a female. There are no other restrictions.
Division III Membership Committee: One January vacancy. The appointee must be a senior woman administrator from Region 1. Ethnic minorities are encouraged to apply.
Division III Nominating Committee: One January vacancy. The appointee must be a male.
Division III Women's Basketball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Rachel Madsen of the California Institute of Technology, who has resigned. The appointee must be from the West region.

Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee: One September 2002 vacancy. The appointee must be an athletics administrator from the Midwest region who represents men's interests. Eligible independent institutions are Austin College, McMurry University and Coe College. Eligible conferences are the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic and the Midwest.
Division III Women's Volleyball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Tina Hill from California Lutheran University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be either a coach or an administrator from the West region.
