The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is December 20, 2002.

Men's and Women's Fencing Committee (Divisions I and III): One immediate vacancy. The appointee must an administrator from the Mid-Atlantic/South region who represents women's interests. Eligible institutions are: Division I -- Duke University; Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck; James Madison University; University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; University of Pennsylvania; Princeton University; Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick; and Temple University. Division III -- Drew University, Haverford College, Johns Hopkins University and Stevens Institute of Technology.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division I Women's Volleyball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Nona Richardson, formerly of Valparaiso University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region and be from Division I-AA or
I-AAA. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancy

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is December 12, 2002.

Division II Field Hockey Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Kelly West McGowan from Bentley College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the North region and can be a coach or an administrator. The eligible conference is the Northeast-10 Conference, and the eligible independent institution is C.W. Post Campus/Long Island University.
