The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is October 30, 2002.

Men's and Women's Fencing Committee: Two immediate vacancies. The appointees may be from any division or subdivision and must represent women's interests. One must be from the Northeast region and one must be from the Middle Atlantic/South region.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is November 5, 2002.

Olympic Sports Liaison Committee: One immediate Division I vacancy. The appointee will replace Terry Don Phillips from Clemson University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be from any subdivision.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is November 6, 2002.

Division I Men's Basketball Issues Committee: Two immediate student-athlete vacancies. One appointee must be a male basketball student-athlete from Division I-A and one appointee must be male basketball student-athlete from Division I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I Women's Basketball Issues Committee: Two immediate student-athlete vacancies. One appointee must be a female basketball student-athlete from Division I-A and one appointee must be female basketball student-athlete from Division I-AA or I-AAA.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is November 7, 2002.

Division I Women's Volleyball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Nona Richardson from Valparaiso University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region and be from Division I-AA or I-AAA. The appointee may be a coach or administrator.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is November 8, 2002.

Division I Initial-Eligibility Waivers Committee: Four January 2003 vacancies. One appointee must have training and/or experience in learning disabilities issues.
