The championships will be March 14-16 at Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York.Field: There will be 330 competitors determined through qualifying tournaments.
Qualifying date: March 9.
2001 team champion: Minnesota.

Top team contenders: Nebraska-Omaha, Central Oklahoma, North Dakota State, Ashland, Pittsburgh-Johnstown, Minnesota State-Mankato, Augustana (South Dakota).
Top individual contenders: Erkin Tadzhimetov, Central Missouri State, 125-pound class; Roderick Ratcliff, Nebraska-Omaha, 141-pound class; Waylon Lowe, Findlay (Ohio), 149-pound class; Dave Vondy, Western State (Colorado), 165-pound class; Todd Fuller, North Dakota State, 174-pound class; Muhammed Lawal, Central Oklahoma, 197-pound class; Muhammed Lawal, Central Oklahoma, heavyweight class.
DIVISION III

The championships will be March 1-2 at First-Union Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.Field: There will be 160 competitors determined through qualifying tournaments.
Qualifying date: February 23.
2001 team champion: Augsburg.
Top team contenders: Augsburg, Wisconsin-La Crosse, King's (Pennsylvania), Wartburg, Upper Iowa, Loras, John Carroll, Springfield, Buena Vista.
Top individual contenders: Darin Betram, Augsburg, 125-pound class; Jesus Wilson, Upper Iowa, 141-pound class; Garrett Kurth, Luther, 149-pound class; Jorge Borgen, Upper Iowa, 165-pound class; Andy Kazik, Lawrence, 184-pound class; Jason Ott, Wisconsin-La Crosse, heavyweight class.
In Division II, North Dakota State will be looking to join Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Central Oklahoma as teams that have won at least three championships in a row.
