First-round games are May 9 on campus and quarterfinals are May 12 on campus. The semifinals (May 17) and championship game (May 19) are at Loyola (Maryland).Field:

Eighteen teams will be selected for the single-elimination tournament. The first 11 berths go to the champions of the automatic-qualifying conferences. Five berths are reserved for true independents and members of conferences without automatic qualification. The remaining two berths will go to teams from conferences with automatic qualification that did not win their conference.Selection date:

Julia Bergofsky, Middlebury; Liz O'Connor and Megan McCall, College of New Jersey; Erin Fitzgerald, Ursinus; Jeanna Angoti, Cortland State; Christine Sliger, Salisbury; Eloise Priest, Washington and Lee.Over the last six years, College of New Jersey and Middlebury have rotated championship wins in Division III, with the Lions having won in 1996, 1998 and 2000, and the Panthers in 1997, 1999 and 2001.
