Dates and sites:
Regional play will be May 16-19 at campus locations, and the Women's College World Series will be May 23-27 at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.Field: Forty-eight teams are selected for championship play. Six teams will participate at each of eight regional sites. The Women's College World Series will include the eight regional winners.

Dates and sites:
Regional play will be May 9-12 on the campus of competing institutions. The finals will be at James I. Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia, May 16-20.Field: The championship field is 48 teams. Six teams will participate at each of eight regional sites in a double-elimination format. Regional winners advance to an eight-team, double-elimination final.

Dates and sites:
First-round games will be played May 10-13. The finals will be May 16-20 at Carson Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.Field: The championship has a field of 43 teams. Five teams will compete at five regional sites and six teams at three regional sites. All regionals will be double-elimination format. Regional winners will advance to an eight-team, double-elimination final.

Muskingum, Central (Iowa), Pacific Lutheran, Wheaton (Mass.), Roanoke, St. Mary's (Minnesota).Players to watch:
Melissa Korb and Shannon Fritze, Pacific Lutheran; Mandy Carnes, Muskingum; Libby Hysell, Central (Iowa); Carmella Ranieri, Wheaton (Massachusetts).This will be the first year that all Women's College World Series games will be shown live on television.
