DIVISION I
Dates and sites:
The regionals will be May 31-June 2 at 16 on-campus and predetermined sites. Super Regionals will be June 7-9 at eight on- and off-campus sites. The College World Series will be June 14-22 at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska.Field: Sixty-four teams, selected by the 10-member Division I Baseball Committee. Thirty conferences have been granted automatic qualification.
Selection date: All teams and pairings will be announced live May 27 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time on ESPN2.
2001 champion: Miami (Florida).
Top team contenders: Clemson, Alabama, Stanford, Rice, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Wichita State, South Carolina.
Players to watch: Khalil Greene, Clemson; Bryan Williams, Jacksonville; Nate Gold, Gonzaga; Ryan Kenning, New Mexico State; Royce Ring, San Diego State; Tim Stauffer, Richmond.
DIVISION II
Dates and sites:
Regionals will be May 16-18 at eight on-campus sites. Finals will be May 25-June 1 at Paterson Field in Montgomery, Alabama.Field: Thirty-two teams, all selected at-large by the eight-member Division II Baseball Committee.
Selection date: May 12.
2001 champion: St. Mary's (Texas).

Cal St. Chico, Delta State, North Florida, Kennesaw State, Central Missouri State, Central Oklahoma, Columbus State, Florida Southern.Players to watch:
Sam Christensen, Southern Colo.; Scott Sears, Columbus State; Matt Incinelli, North Florida; Junior Medina, Stonehill; Jason Manwaring, Mansfield; Andy Dillard, Delta State; Dale Thayer, Cal State Chico.DIVISION III
Dates and sites:
Regionals will be May 16-19 at eight on-campus sites. Finals will be May 24-28 at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin. Wisconsin-Oshkosh will serve as host.Field: Forty-two teams, selected by the eight-member Division III Baseball Committee. Thirty-one conferences have been granted automatic qualification.
Selection date: May 12.
2001 champion: St. Thomas (Minnesota).
Top team contenders:
Marietta, St. Thomas (Minnesota), Chapman, Montclair State, Salisbury, Cortland State, Southern Maine, Eastern Connecticut State.Players to watch:
Drew Caravella, Ohio Wesleyan; Todd Yoder, Marietta; Kyle Limbach, Franklin; Mike Kelly, Trinity (Texas); Jay Coakley, Marietta; Drew Caravella, Ohio Wesleyan; Mike Spavento, Wheaton (Massachusetts); Jonah Bayliss, Trinity (Connecticut).There hasn't been a repeat winner in Division III since Rowan won back-to-back titles in 1978 and 1979. Ironically, Rowan was the second straight school to have done that at the time, following Cal State Stanislaus, which won the first two championships in 1976 and 1977.
