CBS basketball analyst Clark Kellogg will serve as emcee for the 2002 NCAA Honors Dinner.
Kellogg, who also works as a broadcaster for his former NBA team, the Indiana Pacers, joined CBS Sports full time in 1997 after serving as a studio and game analyst for ESPN from 1990 to 1997. He has worked on CBS Sports' coverage of the Division I Men's Basketball Championship for the past nine years, first as a game analyst and then as co-host of first-and second-round studio coverage. He has co-hosted the Final Four games since 1997.
Kellogg led the Ohio State University basketball team in scoring and rebounding as a sophomore and junior. He earned all-Big Ten and conference most valuable player honors in 1982, when he averaged 16.1 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
After his junior year, he entered the NBA draft and was the Pacers' No. 1 pick. Five seasons later, he retired because of chronic knee problems.
Kellogg began his journalism career on the Pacers radio broadcasts and has served as their television analyst for 13 seasons. Kellogg also has worked for the Big East Network and Prime Sports.
He continued to pursue his degree at Ohio State University after joining the NBA and graduated in December 1996 with a degree in marketing. Kellogg received his alma mater's Distinguished Service Alumni Award in 2001, and will be inducted into the Ohio State University Hall of Fame next fall
