CORRECTIONS

Three Division I legislative proposals that had been listed as having been initially approved by the Division I Management Council in the November 5 issue of The NCAA News were in fact defeated. The proposals, listed incorrectly in the Legislative Actions chart on pages 12-13, are No. 01-3 (Recruiting -- Tryouts -- Women's Volleyball); No. 01-81 (Recruiting -- Evaluations -- Softball); and No. 01-82 (Recruiting -- Precollege Expenses -- Learning Disability Testing). Also, the effective date of Proposal No. 01-55-1 is April 1, 2002.

A graphic accompanying a wrestling feature in the November 19 issue of The NCAA News contained incorrect information. The graphic regarding television viewership for the 2001 Division I Wrestling Championships incorrectly listed the number of households as the number of viewers. Since there are about 2.48 people per household, about 791,120 people watched the event.
