The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is September 17, 2001:

Men's and Women's Fencing Committee: One Division I vacancy. The appointee will replace Yves Auriol, University of Notre Dame, who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must represent men's interests and be from the Midwest region. The appointee may be either a coach or an administrator from any Division I subdivision.

Women's Gymnastics Committee: One Division I vacancy. The appointee must be from the Northeast region and be an athletics administrator from either Division I-AA or I-AAA.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 21, 2001:

Foreign Student Records Committee: One Division II vacancy. The appointee will replace Kevin Kehl, Abilene Christian University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must have expertise in foreign student records.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 17, 2001:

Division I Field Hockey Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Heather Lewis, Bucknell University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an athletics administrator and be from the Mideast region. The nominee must be from either Division I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Roxanne Levenson, Pepperdine University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be either a coach or administrator. Eligible subdivisions: I-AA, I-AAA.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division II Women's Lacrosse Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Mike Scerbo, Limestone College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be from either the North or South regions and must be an athletics administrator.

Division II Women's Soccer Committee: One vacancy. The appointee must be from the South region and may be either an athletics administrator or a coach.

Division II Wrestling Committee: One vacancy. The appointee preferably will be from West region and must be an athletics administrator.

Division II Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Joe Gentry, University of Indianapolis, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must represent men's interests and be from the Midwest region. The appointee also must be an athletics administrator.

Division II Membership Committee: Two newly created vacancies. The appointees may be from any region.
