Milestones: Sheilah Gulas, Ashland University, 400 wins in women's softball. Gulas won her 400th game April 14 when Ashland defeated Hillsdale College, 9-1. Gulas is in her fifth season at Ashland and in her 15th season overall as a collegiate head coach. She has won 30 or more games in four of her five seasons at Ashland, and three of her teams have advanced to the Division II playoffs ... John Schaly, Ashland University, 500 wins in baseball. Schaly reached the milestone April 18 when Ashland defeated Walsh University, 17-5. Schaly is in his 14th season as a collegiate coach. In his fourth season at Ashland, Schaly guided the Eagles to the Division II championship in 1999 ... Wendell Simmons, Central Oklahoma State University, 300 career victories in baseball. Simmons' milestone victory came April 13 in a 13-4 victory over East Central University.
